Fall 2022 MENTORS

Grace is a senior Finance major with a concentration in Real Estate. Last summer she worked at Hines as a Summer Analyst. Outside of URES, she is also involved in ABSA's Marketing Team and Finance Team. In her free time she enjoys having traditional chinese tea with friends and watching foreign films.

Nicholas is a Senior Real Estate Finance major. He currently works part-time as an asset management intern for ECI Group and worked as an Asset Management Intern at Amherst Holdings this past summer. In his free time, he likes playing Spikeball, weight training, and listening to podcasts.

Yayi is a Junior Finance and Business Honors major with concentration in real estate. This summer, she interned at Brookfield Properties and also participated in Related Sophomore Fellowship program. In her free time, Yayi enjoys trying new restaurants in Austin, drawing, and listening to music.

Hyman is a junior finance major wit a concentration in real estate. This past summer, he worked as an intern at B&I Capital and traveled around Europe. This upcoming summer, he is joining Blackstone as an Intern in their Real Estate Group in New York. Outside of school, you can find him trying out new restaurants and food trucks.

Jace is a senior History major obtaining a minor in Real Estate and has a certificate in Japanese. Jace enjoyed this past summer as an acquisitions intern for Pathway Homes. In his free time, he enjoys buying land and spending time in nature.

Finance
Adit Goel is a sophomore Finance major. Last summer he interned at RE/PE firm down in Houstin and now he's an investment banking analyst for a boutique bank here in Austin. Outside of URES, he's also involved in the University Securities Investment Team. In his free time, he likes trying to cook new dishes, playing ping-pong and 2K, listening to random podcasts and watching movies.

Joshua Thomas is a sophomore Finance major with a minor in Real Estate. Last summer, he worked on and closed a family land acquisition deal and started planning for a multifamily development on the property. In addition, he invested alongside an apartment syndication deal in the gentrifying part of the Dallas metroplex. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, watching comedies, and spending time with friends and family.

Jennifer is a freshman CBHP major from Houston, TX. She is part of a four-year internship where she practices outreach for individuals and organizations. In her free time, she likes to watch Netflix series, spend time outdoors, and be around friends.

Evan is a sophomore Economic major from North Caldwell, New Jersey. He is a big sports fan and loves watching the Longhorns play on Saturdays. He also is interested in trying new restaurants, traveling, as well as watching TV shows.

Sahan is a freshman CBHP major from Coppell, TX. He has experience working on sustainability projects with large environmental organizations, including the Sierra Club and Environment Texas. He is interested in exploring the intersection between sustainability and real estate. In his free time, he loves trying new foods, spending time outdoors, and playing basketball.

Tina Li is a sophomore CBHP major with a concentration in Real Estate. Outside of URES, she is involved in the CBHP DEI Committee, HBA, and Texas Lonestars. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, boxing, reading, and getting boba every other day.

Nikhila is a Sophomore Finance major from Frisco, TX. Most of her work in the CRE space deals with Multifamily Investment Sales, Office Leasing, and more recently D&A focusing more on the brokerage side. In her free time, she loves to go hiking in state and national parks, cooking, and kickboxing.

Rutvij is a freshman business major and a United States Air Force Reserve Airman. He look to partake in ROTC while in college while studying intersections of business and public policy. His plans post-graduation are to explore career paths in international relations, global banking, and economics consulting. In his free time, he enjoys rowing, lifting, playing basketball, listening to podcasts, and reading.

Zarek is sophomore business major. Currently, he hopes to graduate as a finance major on the real estate track & entrepreneurship minor. Presently, he looking for opportunities in finance and commercial real estate.

The Texas URES Real Estate Mentorship Program strives to provide members with financial and networking skills to launch into a career in real estate investments (private equity, asset management, public real estate, etc.). In a structured year-long program, mentees will learn elements of financial modeling, interview preparation, case studies, resume review, industry overviews, and core real estate concepts. The program will be instructed by experienced upperclassmen and will feature course materials, relationship building activities, and tools for finding and landing premier jobs and internships in the real estate industry.
